Dementia training built for Georgia memory care
CECTE’s Georgia training is written to Georgia’s own rules for personal care homes and assisted living communities, not a national course with a state name added. Every course is self-paced, online, and documented for your facility’s training file.
Which course do you need?
- All staff at a certified memory care center: GA-DEM-MCC-100, Georgia 4-Hour Dementia Orientation. One course for every team member, whether or not they provide direct care. It covers both the personal care home rule and the assisted living rule, so there’s no separate version to buy for your license type.
How the course works
- Self-paced and online. Learners can stop and pick up where they left off.
- Timed lessons. Each lesson has a minimum time on the page, so the hours on the certificate reflect real instructional time.
- Final assessment. An 80% score is required to pass.
- Records ready for your file. Learners who pass receive a certificate of completion and a one-page Program & Recordkeeping Summary.
Training a team?
Administrators enrolling several staff members can email info@cecte.org, and we’ll set up group enrollment for your team.
These courses are designed to address Georgia’s dementia training requirements for personal care homes (Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. 111-8-62) and assisted living communities (Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. 111-8-63). They are not reviewed or approved by the Georgia Department of Community Health, and each facility remains responsible for determining and documenting its own regulatory compliance.
